Balance

amongst turbulence

You have been blessed with the gift of abundance, but any kind of change--even a positive one--can throw your life off balance.

The II of Pentacles is symbolic of the struggle to find balance in our external lives. A figure juggles two pentacles in front of a turbulent sea. In the Hermetic tarot they are known as the “Lord of Harmonious Change.’” The infinity sign around them suggests that the cycle of highs and lows is never ending, but still the figure dances because "c'est la vie."

The card oversees the first decan of Capricorn and is ruled by the planet Jupiter.

In a reading this card may suggest that you are adaptable and can handle whatever challenges life inevitably throws at you. You have your priorities straight and can balance the many aspects of your life. However, true balance may be difficult to maintain, so you may need to prioritize accordingly to stay on your feet. Don’t forget to manage your time and resources wisely to prevent stretching yourself too thin.

The reversed could mean there is imbalance in your life leading to stress and worry. This may be self imposed because you’ve taken on too much at once. Take a step back to reevaluate your priorities. Are you giving equal attention to all the most important aspects of your life?
