The Hero of Swords is a curious young soul. A spark of yearning within compels them to travel east to seek out all the knowledge the world has to offer.
To navigate the obstacles before them, they must first face their own blindness to the truth in order to attain mental balance and clarity.
True mental clarity can only be found by letting go of emotional attachments. It is a hard lesson to learn, but their heartache imparts the wisdom that can only be found in suffering. They allow themselves to mourn then move on.
The mental toll of the first two trials forces them to take a moment's rest. They use the time to recuperate and recenter so they can be ready for the challenges that still lie ahead.
They push forward with renewed vigor to overcome trial after trial. Without emotional attachments to hold them back, they take out anything and anyone in their way without remorse. When finally they stand victorious at the apex, they realize that the price of their triumph was a part of their own humanity.
Upon the solemn realization that there is nothing left for them where they are, they decide to begin a new journey towards a fresh start. They strive to release their baggage along the way, but it still weighs heavily upon them.
They spot an opportunity for a new beginning on the horizon, but in a desperate attempt to bury the past and hide their true selves they resort to deceit.
Deception leads to an inevitable end. As they gaze into the abyss, they feel as if there is no escaping their circumstances, but they just need to free their mind.
The weight of their intellect drags them into the depths of overwhelming fear, anxiety, and sadness.
They succumb to the harshness of reality, but hope for a new beginning still lingers. There is nowhere to go from the bottom but up.
